No matter where you are now in your career it’s still possible that you’d consider a new workplace someday. The kind of work you choose might require getting into a graduate program, so if your GPA is low, you might not get the job you want. This could be somethings you regret in ten years.
The job market is unfair.
“GPAs can’t measure the real capabilities of a person.” This is the argument that most job seekers use. They find that using this in making a hiring decision is unjustified. But in reality, it doesn’t really matter if this is true; what matters is if employers care.

Job experience is more important
Employers want someone who can get the job done easily. Most of the time, employers hire experienced workers rather than newbies with good grade point average, because by doing so the company saves time and money.
Networking is key.
You could be an achiever, but if you don’t have connections in the field that you wish to pursue, finding a job may not be that easy. That’s why it is necessary to keep in touch with people who can help you in your quest in the future.
Your college grade point average is a combination of several factors, but isn’t really the best indicator of how you’ll perform in the workforce. Therefore, the GPA in your resume doesn’t really matter when you don’t have enough skills and passion for the work that you’re aiming for.
